23rd Mar 2006: Creative Burngreave Open Day

Creative Burngreave booked Jamboree to provide our beautiful marquee as a gallery space for local artists. We were also pleased to provide a part of their entertaining evening with Sophie compering and the 'Bow Tux'd Twins' performing in the cemetry chapel. A really lovely evening. Thanks to Jenifer Denis and all at Creative Burngreave.

18th Mar 2006: Peek-a-Boo Burlesque at the Sola Bar

Ultra-vixen have been running a Burlsque night in Sheffield for the last six months. In March they asked Jamboree to provide some of the entertainment and infrastructure to help the night progress and expand. The first night was great, with the Cous-Cous torture company joining the regular line up to make the night go with a smash and a tinkle. Watch out in the diary for future dates.

8th February 2006: Valentines Ball at the City Hall Ball Room

Jamboree provided the compere and two excellent acts for this classy ball. Thanks to Julie at Gash clothing for getting us involved. I hope we can make it an annual event. Great fun was had by all including the merry Lord Mayor.

3rd Feb 2006: The Fusion Circus Cabaret

Jamboree and the Polichinelo Circus students delivered a con-fusion of acrobatic and aerial feats to the delight of all at the Burngreave Cemetry Chapel. This proved to be a wonderful evening of high class acts and hopefully will set the scene for collaborations to come.

10th December 2005: The Wardrobe of Delights

This was a brilliant event. The capacity audience enjoyed a superb lineup of acts introduced be the sidesplitting duo of Maureen and Berol. Thanks to Burngreave arts and culture group and all the performers and audience for making this such a magical final performance for 2005.

And the great news is Maureen and Beryl will be on tour with the 'Wardrobe of Delights' and the rest of the crew in 2006!
